Tracking the evolution of OpenSearch performance

Trail of Bits, an independent research and consulting company, recently completed a detailed analysis of OpenSearch performance. Read the blog post and detailed analysis to learn about key performance metrics for the Big5 workload! OpenSearch is a fully open-source, Apache v2–licensed project under the Linux Foundation that provides lexical search, log analytics, and a vector database for semantic search and generative AI workloads. The project includes OpenSearch, a search engine, OpenSearch Dashboards, a visualization and monitoring UI, OpenSearch Data Prepper, an ingestion and processing engine, and OpenSearch Benchmark, a benchmarking tool for measuring OpenSearch performance.

Prior to joining AWS, he worked on a large-scale e-commerce search engine. Jon holds a Master of Science and PhD in computer science and artificial intelligence from Northwestern University.
