Led by Douglas Miller, an expert with over 11 years of experience in Elasticsearch consulting, the company was founded after completing over 65 Elasticsearch projects for major clients, including Microsoft, Dell, and Walgreens, through Weblink Technologies. Smart Search Tools was conceived because companies were spending 2.5 to 3 hours per day searching for information. The platform is designed to automate and simplify what the consulting team previously did manually, delivering enterprise-grade search solutions built on OpenSearch.
